Wining
and Dining
From upmarket,
fine dining restaurants to roadside barbeques, every taste and
budget is catered for. There is Indian, Chinese, Italian and French
food as well as plenty of spicy local Creole cooking. Fish straight
from the sea is served with island grown vegetables, herbs and
spices and, of course, exotic tropical fruit.
However you
like to spend your evenings, you’ll have plenty of choice.
Many of the bars and clubs have live music and you can relax in
any style you like. Hundreds of tiny rum shops, elegant cocktail
bars, informal beach bars and sunset cruises with drinks and hors
d’oevres encourage you to chill out, make new friends and
live life at a slower pace for a while.
And Marigot
Bay is no exception. Dotted around the bay are lively restaurants
and bars offering everything from haute cuisine to casual tropical
tastes. There’s Chateau Mygo, The Shack, JJ’s Paradise,
Rainforest Hideaway and Doolittle’s restaurant for menus with
plenty of local flair while the Discovery resort provides a range
of dining options at The Boudreau, the Coffee Dock and at The Marina
Village with its The Baguet Shop and the restaurant and bar.
If you still have some energy after a day in the sun, you can dance the
night away at one of the clubs in Rodney Bay.
